Clinical Supervision

I offer clinical supervision for social workers working toward LCSW licensure in New York State, including those earning the required supervised experience hours.

I also provide supervision and consultation for therapists who want to think more deeply about how they use themselves as an instrument in the therapy room—particularly how their presence, nonverbal communication, and ways of relating shape what becomes possible with each client. This work can complement any theoretical orientation, therapeutic approach, or set of clinical techniques.

I offer clinical supervision, webinars, workshops, and talks for psychotherapists who are interested in becoming more aware and intentional about how they use their most essential instrument in the therapy room: themselves. Drawing on ideas from my book, The Performing Art of Therapy: Acting Insights and Techniques for Therapists, I explore how therapists can use their presence (both verbal and nonverbal), attention, voice, body, imagination, and relational instincts to create greater possibility and connection with their clients.
